Programme outline
The European Master in Territorial Development is taught at the Leibniz Universität Hannover and at Technische Universität Braunschweig. Mainly involved are the:
- Faculty for Architecture and Landscape at Leibniz Universität Hannover: The faculty includes the Department of Architecture and the Department of Landscape Sciences. These two departments are each divided into individual institutes with various teaching and research areas.
- Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences at the Technische Universität Braunschweig: The faculty includes the Department of Architecture and the Department of Construction and Environment. These two departments are each divided into several institutes with different teaching and research areas.
The Master programme has a course load of 120 CP. All the courses are usually 5 CP, the research oriented projects are 15 CP and the Master’s Thesis is 30 CP.
The structure of the programme is as follows:
Semester 3: Mandatory Study term abroad (30 CP): You can choose from 1 in 5 universities. For more information go to Partner Universities.
Semester 4: Master's Thesis (30 CP): You can do a co-tutored master thesis. That means the 1st tutor comes from LUH or TU BS and the 2nd tutor from the host university.
