The Department of Geography and Environmental Management at UWE has a strong reputation for providing a friendly and supportive learning environment. They offer innovative teaching and research in geography, urban planning, environmental resource management, transport and civil and environmental engineering, and with a wide range of regional, national and international partners.
You can choose modules which are offered in two Master programmes:
MSc Urban Planning: The course comprises advanced postgraduate study in urban planning, firmly underpinned by a wide range of research some of which is carried out by the course's excellent teaching staff and by faculty scholarships, consultancy and links with practice.
MSc Transport Planning: Throughout the course you will acquire the knowledge and skills transport planning employers look for in potential employees. You will also focus on how spatial planning interacts with transport needs and transport systems, and we encourage you to be open to new ideas and to critically examine established practices.
