The Department of Human Geography at Stockholm University is a dynamic research setting. The research concentrates on three research profiles: The Stockholm Urban and Regional Research Environment (SURE), Historical Geography and Landscape Studies (FarmLandS), and Population Geography, Migration and GIS. They offer courses and programmes in Human Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Geography, and Globalization, Environment and Social Change. · Master's Programme in Urban and Regional Planning: Urban and regional planning is constantly challenged by the transformation of society as well as by changes in our knowledge about and understanding of the world. This means that the values and applications of planning have to be continuously critically assessed and evaluated.
